II. Tests: All are taken shortly after the start of the day. Tests should be
taken the day the child comes back, unless information is missed (This
does not include missing a review the day prior to the test).

III. Absent work: Please arrange for work to be picked-up. Send a note
with a sibling or call the office so the work can be ready when you arrive.
Missed class work is expected to be completed at home, unless notes
need to be copied.

IV. Transportation: Arrangements must made prior to your child coming
to school. (See FRA handbook for more details.) Send a note to school if
you know your child will be getting checked out, will be in carpool rather
than riding a bus, or will be riding a different bus. No E-mail messages
about transportation changes will be accepted.

V. Conferences: These are generally held at 7:30 AM or during morning
break (usually P.E.). If it is impossible for you to meet at that time, I will try
to make other arrangements for a time during the school day. No
conferences will be held after school has closed for the day.

VI. Phone calls/Issues: Due to various duty schedules and taking care
of work during my short "off time", it can be very difficult for me to contact
parents by phone to discuss issues. Please try to avoid asking me to call
you, but rather send an E-mail or note with your question(s) for me to
respond to. I try to check our class E-mail at least once during the school
day, and I check it several times after I go home. It's probably the easiest
way to get in touch with me and the fastest way to get a response.

VII. Bringing Books For Studying: If you would like your child to bring
home books to study that may not be a part of their homework, please let
your child know. I do not remind individual students to bring home extra
books. However, I do remind all students verbally which books are
necessary for that night's homework. Textbooks are not usually sent home
until the night prior to a test. Reading and spelling workbooks do not go
home unless a student misses school and needs to make up classwork.
